Your Data

Beat Racing collects information about you.
Beat Racing will store only the information that is entered by the users.
The data entered remains the property of the individual and Beat Racing will not make available for use any of this information without the permission of the individual.
We will collect basic information for your account such as your email address, name, date of birth and password.
In order for the app to function correctly we will also collect information about the equipment you intend to use when running the Beat Racing app.
This will include information such as the equipment type and an identifying number.
When you make a payment on Beat Racing, you may provide payment information such as your payment card or other payment details. We use Payment Card Industry compliant third-party payment services and we do not store your credit card information.

Personal Information
The personal information provided by you on account sign up is required to allow us to provide you with support and provide the best possible service, maintain our own accounts and verify your identity for security purposes. You can choose to share your information and tracked routes within the app with your in-app friends. Details displayed to your friends are your name, home club, profile photo and any routes you have recorded. You might be suggested as a friend to others, but when doing so, only your name, home club and profile photo will be displayed. You can decline a friend request at any time and also remove friends from your account.

Location Services
In order for Beat Racing to provide the features it does, we collect and process location information from your device.
Information colleted such as the phyiscal location of the device, speed and direction.
It is necessary for Beat Racing to then process this data to be able to provide leaderboards, routes and races.

Your rights about your data
Beat Racing will give you access to your data at any time. An export of all your data in a standard format can be requested. You can find details about your rights under the UK Data Protection legislation at the Information Commissoner's Office

How Beat Racing uses your data
Beat Racing uses the information collected to continually analyze, improve and develop the services we provide.
Information is used to generate leaderboards and participate in Beat Racing events subject to your permission in the privacy settings within the app.
We use your information to communicate with you about the Services, let you know about new features or updates to our Terms of Service.

How Beat Racing secures your data
Beat Racing takes the security of your data very seriously. All our data and servies are run from Amazon Web Service Servers. All information transmitted between the user and our servers is done using the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to allow for the encryption of personal information and credit card numbers.

Account Deletion
You can delete your account from within the app in the Profile section.
Your personal data will be removed from out systems.
Where your tracks have been included in races and courses, the data will remain but instead of any of your personal data this will simply have data not avaiable where previously it would have displayed your information.

While Beat Racing continues to work hard to protect your personal information, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure, and Beat Racing cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to Beat Racing. Transmitting personal information is done at your own risk.
